Charity Art Project

About project

Charity art project 'TV-Gallery' assists Russian rural art schools for children.

The project originated from a trip to a rural school in Russia. Children at the school lacked simple necessities such as brushes and pencils. To help art schools it was decided to leverage the art.

As of now we have purchased all equipment required for painting for six art schools. In our plans to help all art schools in the region.

TV presenters reproduced famous paintings. The best photographers, stylists, make-up artists, hairdressers, dressers worked on the creation of photo reproductions. All works were sold at the auction. The money received went to the first children art school in the village of Svyatoslavka, Samoilovsky district.

The project went to the Russian federal level. The film 'TV-Gallery' became a finalist of the prestigious competition 'TEFI-Region'. The children from the school, which received auction’s money created their own pieces of art for the second auction. The initiative was supported by a world famous Russian painter Nikas Safronov. He held an art workshop for children and conducted the auction. Because of Safronov’s popularity, the profit of the auction quadrupled.

The creative and charitable action becomes the owner of the main television awards: the National Prize 'Country', the competition 'Federation'. This stage of the project included an art quest. Children from the art schools and guests had a unique opportunity to take a part in the quest and learn about masterpieces. As the author of the project, I offer you the same unique opportunity to participate in this quest. Mikhail Porechenkov, a famous Russian movie and theater actor and the First Ambassador of Saint-Petersburg Children Hospice, came to support the project. Children from art schools visited famous regional and country museums.
